- 5 minutes’ walk to Rail Runner Train stop to downtown Santa Fe or Albuquerque
- Lots of walking paths in a quiet neighborhood
Importance of
the Geshe House:
- Provides stability and long-term home for our Resident Geshe – Thubten Sherab
- Owning a permanent home for Geshe-la is critical to The Buddhist Center’s long-term success and vitality.
- The Geshe House has space for an attendant from Kopan or Sera Monastery to care for Geshe-la during long retreat or many years from now in Geshe-la’s old age
- Geshe-la wants us to use the Geshe House for visiting teachers or student retreats whenever he is traveling and teaching outside of New Mexico
